In this directory are several text files that contain the spike times for trials in the tracking task with 1 of 4 and 2 of 4 items. One file has all the neurons that were visually responsive, and the other file has all the neurons collectively. Each file has the same data format as detailed below. email jude at jude@salk.edu with a descriptive title if you have problems. > > ok, here is the format. i'm cc'ing to myself so i will > have a record, if you guys need it again, just email me. > > each row is a single trial. > then in each row: > 1st number = 0 - unattended stimulus, 1 - attended stimulus in RF > 2nd number = 0 - incorrect behavioral response, 1- correct > 3rd number = 0-7, number identifying one of eight different movie > trajectories that could bring stimulus in RF > 4th number = 0-9, number indicating exact cueing configuration at > the start of trial > Many numbers follow then, they are floating point and give the spike > times in milliseconds over the trial (time 0 being when stimuli > first appear before cueing, stimuli are paused in the RF between > 1450-2450 ms) > > There may be a few neurons with very low firing rates, in which case you > might find a few trials where there are even no spike times (so just > 4 numbers in the row), so you might want to make the code robust to > that case, but it should be pretty rare. > > jude >
